Weight Management FAQ

What does the weight management program include?

Our Weight Management Program is a medically supervised plan that offers personalized guidance in diet, exercise, and lifestyle changes. We focus on helping you develop sustainable habits for managing your weight without resorting to surgery or extreme diets. If suitable for your health needs, medications such as Semaglutide and Tirzepatide may also be included in your plan.

Do I need to visit every week?

Yes. Weekly meetings solely with Dr. Hill are required.

Is there an option for a virtual plan?

Yes! JBH Medical’s Virtual Weight Management program allows people from locations outside of Orlando to participate. All the essential tools for success—such as supplements, scales, medication, and more—are conveniently mailed to you.

Is there a shots only plan?

This will depend on your health goals and whether medication alone is appropriate. Dr. Hill will create a personalized plan that may include medication, but overall lifestyle and dietary changes are essential for sustainable results.

What medications are available for weight loss?

We provide FDA-approved weight loss medications, including Tirzepatide and Semaglutide through FDA-approved compounding pharmacies, along with Phentermine, Phendimetrazine, Contrave, and Qsymia. These medications support weight management and improve metabolic health.

Am I eligible for weight loss medication?

Eligibility for weight loss medications is based on your health status, current medications, and weight loss goals. Dr. Hill will review your medical history and recommend the most suitable treatment plan.

How often should I schedule my visits?

Appointment frequency is determined by your individual progress and needs. Dr. Hill will collaborate with you to establish the proper follow-up schedule, whether in person or virtually.

Can Dr. Hill prescribe medications for conditions other than weight management?

Yes, Dr. Hill is able to prescribe medications related to health needs beyond weight management, but this service falls under the JBH concierge membership.
