Appointment Scheduling Policies

At JBH Medical, we aim to deliver personalized, high-quality care while efficiently using your time and ours. Please review the following policies to ensure a smooth experience during your visits:

No-Show and Late Arrival Policy

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, it will be treated as a cancellation. Appointments are arranged to provide you with dedicated time with Dr. Hill, and arriving late not only impacts your visit but also affects other patients who are waiting for their scheduled care. Please be mindful of your appointment time to ensure you make the most of your visit and respect the time of others.

Cancellation Policy

For medical services, if you do not cancel with at least 24 hours' notice, a fee of $25 will be charged. For weight management services, if you are unable to reschedule within the same week, a fee equal to the full appointment cost will be charged.

We prioritize open communication with our patients. To ensure your questions and concerns are addressed promptly, please follow these guidelines:

Business Hours Communication

You can contact us at (407) 234-5282 during business hours. We also accept text messages. If we are unavailable, please leave a message, and we will return your call within 24 to 48 hours.

After-Hours Communication

We provide answering services during lunch hours and after business hours. Messages left after hours will be returned within 24 to 48 hours.

Weight Management Policies

Our Weight Management Program focuses on your weight loss goals and improving your metabolic health. Please follow these policies to ensure your appointment time is used effectively.

Scope of Weight Management Appointments

Weight management appointments are strictly for discussing weight loss strategies and related health concerns. We won’t address any other health conditions outside of weight management. This includes anything related to prescription management or other healthcare concerns, especially if these conditions are being managed by another provider. If you would like to discuss additional healthcare strategies, please inquire to schedule a paid consultation.

Deposit Required for Initial Appointment

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required for your initial weight management appointment. This deposit secures your appointment time and will be applied toward the total cost of your visit.
Billing and Payments Policies

Appointment Fees

Payment is required for appointments at the time of service. Please contact our office for information regarding costs and accepted payment methods.

Missed Appointment Charges

If you miss your appointment without rescheduling within the same week, or do not provide 24 hours' notice, you will be charged the full appointment fee.
